What you need to know for a Community Acupuncture treatment:
Treatments will be given on a first come, first serve basis with treatments lasting approximately 45 min.
Please try your best to come in 45 minutes prior to the end time listed on the daily schedule.
Street clothes are acceptable, but clothing that allows for easy access to arms (elbows to hands), legs (full knee to feet) and head (down to shoulders) works best.
Kathy Comstock graduated from The Evergreen State College in1991 with a Bachelor of Arts focus on Women’s Health and Healing, Yoga, and Ancient Art and Architecture. During her studies she attended Semester At Sea visiting 13 countries in three months, allowing her to studying in each country their respective religions, politics, art, food, traditions and to meet the local people in their own environments.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2004 she discovered her interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine and ultimately graduated from Dongguk University a Master of Oriental Medicine. Kathy emphasizes the conversation between practitioner and patient, and between the patients’ mind, body, and spirit.
